The Department of Nephrology involves the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalance, renal replacement therapy, dialysis and renal transplantation.

The state of the art Haemodialysis centre at Thangam, is a point of great pride. The first of its kind to be established in Palakkad, it comes equipped with imported high quality dialysis machines, that function round the clock with assistance from a team of well trained, experienced staff nurses, technicians and doctors. Equipped for multiple patients to undergo Dialysis at a time, it also comprises a separate area and machines allotted for infective patients.

The Department of Nephrology generally provides treatment in case of all kidney related diseases, transplant, critical care in nephrology and haemodialysis.
