The Department of Cardiology deals with ailments related to the heart, calling for early detection and prompt management to achieve, at the very least, regression of the disease, if not a total reversal. At Thangam, we have carved a niche for ourselves by being the first in Palakkad to venture into this area, making a difference to the lives of hundreds of people with a team of experienced and dedicated cardiologists.

Our Cardiology Department is the first of its kind in Palakkad, and provides full-fledged heart care with 24 hour Doctor Service (Interventional Cardiology). Our Cath lab performs Angiogram, Angioplasty, Stenting, Pacemaker Implantations and various other interventional procedures with the support of a full- fledged department equipped with state of the art Multiple Colour Doppler, Holter, Echocardiogram and Treadmill. We also have a separate CCU (Cardiac Care Unit), were critically ill heart patients are admitted and cared for separately.
